Twinshot. Gouache on watercolor paper. 4 square inches. 2018.
Added to the home gallery is my newest piece in what I would categorize as my works that deal with the forces of nature within our universe. Titled Twinshot, the piece takes inspiration from 80s/90s science fiction illustration seen on arcade cabinets, CD covers and entertainment promos. More recently, Twinshot also takes inspiration from the recently discovered asteroid Oumuamua. Put simply, Twinshot captures a highlight in the ever moving clockwork of our universe. That the speed, force and interaction of these interstellar objects, when seen from the right angle, create dream like imagery as seen in the time of the neon soaked arcades.
